Breaking 85 isn’t about a new swing — it’s about eliminating the mistakes that quietly add 6–10 strokes per round.

  • You strike the ball well enough to shoot in the low 80s

  • But one or two bad holes ruin the round

  • You know what should work, but it doesn’t hold up on the course

  • Practice doesn’t translate to lower scores

  • You’ve shot 85–89+ more times than you can count

Why a Cohort, Not Another Lesson

Most golfers practice alone, guess at solutions, and never close the gap

  • This cohort provides:

    • Live coaching

    • Clear weekly focus

    • Accountability

    • Real-world application

This is not a tips-based clinic. It’s a guided scoring system.

What You’ll Experience

3-Week Structured Coaching Experience

A clearly defined, outcome-driven coaching framework designed to create immediate scoring improvement while establishing habits players can continue using long after the cohort ends.

Two 60-Minute Live Calls Per Week

Live coaching sessions focused on practical scoring concepts, real-world application, and player-specific questions—so instruction translates directly to performance on the course.

Homework and On-Course Assignments

Weekly practice and playing assignments that reinforce each coaching theme and ensure learning is applied where it matters most: during actual rounds.

Small Group (8–16 players)

A deliberately limited group size to allow for personalized feedback, meaningful interaction, and a high level of accountability.

Hosted Inside a Private Online Community

All coaching, assignments, discussions, and updates are centralized in a private community that keeps players engaged, organized, and supported throughout the cohort.

Replays and Written Prompts Included

Every live call is recorded, and written prompts accompany each week’s material so players can review, reflect, and stay on track even if they miss a session.

FAQs

  • The Break 85 Cohort is a short, structured group coaching experience designed to help committed golfers consistently score 84 or better. It combines live coaching calls, guided practice assignments, on-course application, and accountability within a small group setting.

  • This cohort is best suited for golfers who:

    • Regularly score between 88–95

    • Play and practice consistently

    • Want to improve scoring, not overhaul their swing

    • Are willing to track performance and follow a structured plan

Players outside this range may be better served by private coaching or a different program.

  • You should be within striking distance. If you are consistently shooting in the low-to-mid 90s and committed to practice, this cohort can help close the gap. If you are a beginner or regularly shoot over 100, this will not be the right fit.

  • No. While sound fundamentals matter, this cohort is primarily focused on scoring skills, decision-making, course management, and practice structure. The goal is to lower scores with the swing you already have.

  • Live calls are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:00 AM PST. All calls will be recorded and made available inside the private community for those who cannot attend live.

  • Cohorts are intentionally small, typically 8–16 players, to ensure coaching quality, interaction, and individual feedback.

  • All coaching calls, replays, homework assignments, and community discussions are hosted inside our private Circle community.

  • Yes. Each week includes clear practice and on-course assignments. These are essential to achieving results and are designed to be practical, focused, and time-efficient.

  • Success is measured primarily by scoring performance, including:

    • Lower round scores

    • Fewer penalty strokes

    • Fewer double bogeys or worse

    • Improved consistency

Players track key metrics throughout the cohort.

  • No program can guarantee a specific score, but we’re willing to offer additional coaching at no extra cost to you if you complete 100% of the homework and assignments by the end of the cohort.

Results depend on your current ability, effort, and consistency. This cohort provides the structure, coaching, and accountability required to give you the best possible chance to break 85 in a repeatable way.

  • Final pricing will be shared with waitlist members before registration opens. This will be a premium, small-group coaching experience. With that being said, it will be cheaper than private lessons, and we believe it will give you faster and better results.
