THE PROGRAM
Built for adults who are new to the game.
Golf Foundations is an ongoing group program for adult beginners. There's no fixed start date — you join when you're ready, attend weekly sessions at The Creek at Qualchan Golf Course, and progress at your own pace. Every session is led by a PGA Professional.
The curriculum is built around the Operation 36 development model — a nationally recognized framework that starts you close to the hole and moves you back as you improve. You advance when you've hit a real scoring milestone, not on a fixed schedule.
Groups are capped at 6:1 player tp coach ratio. Everyone in the group is at a similar stage. The first class is commitment-free — come see how it works before you buy a package.

THE PROGRAM
Built for adults who are new to the game.
You advance to the next distance only after you score even par for 9 holes from where you're standing. That means every milestone you hit is real — not a date on a calendar.

YOUR COACHES
PGA Professionals who specialize in adult beginners.
Bo Baker has spent more than a decade coaching golfers of every age and skill level, with a particular focus on the adult beginner experience. His approach is built on patience, clear explanations, and making sure every student leaves the session knowing what they worked on and why it matters on the course.
Corey Prugh brings the same philosophy and works alongside Bo in Golf Foundations sessions. Between them, they have coached hundreds of adult beginners in Spokane through their first rounds of golf.

WHAT A SESSION LOOKS LIKE
Instruction, practice, and actual golf — every week.
Each 75-minute session has three parts. You won't spend the whole time hitting range balls — instruction, guided practice, and on-course play happen every single session.
First 25 minutes
Instruction
Bo or Corey covers one specific skill — the mechanics, why it matters, and what to feel when you're doing it right. No jargon, no information overload. One thing at a time.
Next 25 minutes
Guided practice
You work on that skill with your instructor present. They watch, adjust, and give you feedback in real time. The group format means you also learn from watching others in the same situation.
Final 25 minutes
On-course play
You take what you just learned onto the course — playing holes at your Operation 36 distance. When you score even par for 9 holes, you advance to the next level.

Every session: PGA-led instruction, guided practice, and real holes on the course. Groups capped at a 6:1 player to coach ratio — not 8, not 10.
