An Introductory golf program for kids - Powered by Operation 36
In our Pre-Competitive Junior program, we firmly believe that young golfers (ages 7+) deserve the chance to foster a genuine love for the game. We aim to provide an environment where they can not only make new friends but also experience enjoyment, boost their confidence, and acquire valuable life skills through engaging and enjoyable classes. Similar to any other sport, we emphasize instilling the fundamentals of every aspect of golf, empowering them to excel and pursue their dreams of becoming skilled and passionate golfers.
What’s included with the program:
Weekly 60 minute group class - Our program offers a structured 60-minute group class every week, concentrating on one of the 12 fundamental skills outlined in the Operation 36 curriculum. Through the use of engaging games and activities, we reinforce essential skills that every junior golfer should possess. This approach ensures a comprehensive learning experience that is both enjoyable and effective.
Bi-monthly 9 hole events - Instead of starting at the full tee box, all golfers begin in Division 1 and will play 9 holes starting 25 yards from each green. Their goal is to score 36 (par) or better to advance to the next distance. Learn how 9 hole events work and how parents can be involved!
Progress tracking mobile app - Each junior will have an Operation 36 account within the mobile app so their progress can be tracked.
Academy leaderboards - Each week, students can compete and train to get their name on top of the national leaderboard, Bo Baker Golf Academy leaderboard, and their class leaderboard within the Operation 36 mobile app.
Training videos and challenges - A big part of the program is keeping kids engaged with their improvement outside of class. Juniors will be able to watch instruction videos and post their practice within the Bo Baker Junior Golf Academy community through the Operation 36 mobile app.

They take place on Tuesday evenings and there are two during each month of the program.

All players are assigned a tee time and will be paired with players that are close to their same age or skill level. Players who haven't reached level 4 will tee off earlier in the evening and players who are level 4 and beyond will have the later times.

Recommended equipment: golf clubs, golf balls, golf tees, water bottle, sunscreen, tennis shoes or golf shoes.

We recommend US Kids golf clubs. You can fit your junior on the US Kids website.

Our pre-competitive classes have 8 kids and 1 coach.

Yes, you can find all of our pre-competitive offerings here. We will typically have 2-3 camps during the summer.

We have a limite amor of lars we can fit into our programs. If you don’t see any available spots, then you can add yourself our waitlist.

We run on semester schedule. Each semester is 6-8 weeks and each class is one hour per week.

Juniors just be turning at least 7 years old during the semester they are registered for.
At Bo Baker Golf Academy we know that you want your child to have fun with the game.
In order to achieve that, you need a fun and engaging program with coaches who actually care about your child. The problem is, there aren’t many programs that offer fun and engaging learning environments, which can make you feel hopeless for your child’s future with the game. We believe your child should have fun learning the game, and you as the parent should be a part of the journey.
We understand it’s hard to find a golf program for your child which is why have developed a program that has helped over 350 kids learn and enjoy the game.
