A SCORING PROGRAM
PROJECT 89
FIND THE SHOTS KEEPING YOU IN THE 90s.
You probably don't need to rebuild your golf swing. You need to know where you're losing shots, what to practice, and how to turn those wasted strokes into lower scores.
Project 89 is a 3-month small-group scoring program built to help you become an 80s golfer.

THE PROBLEM
Most golfers trying to break 90 think they need a better swing. So they work on their driver. Then their irons. Then their wedges. Then putting. The problem is that everything becomes a priority - which means nothing is a priority.
Project 89 takes a different approach. We track what actually happens during your rounds, identify the mistakes costing you the most shots, and build your improvement plan around those areas first.
Because a 97 doesn't always mean you're 8 shots away from being a better golfer. Sometimes it means you're giving away shots in a few key areas.
YOU Don’t need to get 10 shots better at golf. you need to find the 10 shots you’re wasting.
Same swing. Smarter practice. Lower scores.
Project 89 starts by finding your shots
HOW PROJECT 89 WORKS
STOP GUESSING. START FOLLOWING A SYSTEM.
Track Your Round
Use the Project 89 Scorecard to track the shots and mistakes that actually affect your score.
Find the Leaks
Identify where your wasted shots are coming from — penalties, putting, short game, approach play, poor decisions, or somewhere else.
Build Your Plan
Your biggest scoring leaks become your practice priorities. No random practice. No trying to fix everything at once.
Train What Matters
Work through purposeful drills, games, and practice sessions built around the areas costing you the most shots.
Test It on the Course
Take the work back to the golf course, track another round, and see what changed.
Repeat Until 89
Every round gives us new information. Every practice session has a purpose. Repeat the process until shooting in the 80s becomes your new normal.
EVERY ROUND TELLS US WHAT TO WORK ON NEXT.
PLAY. TRACK. TRAIN. TEST. SCORE.

WHO PROJECT 89 IS FOR
PROJECT 89 IS FOR THE GOLFER WHO KNOWS THERE’S MORE IN THEIR GAME.
If you’re capable of good golf but your scores still live in the 90s, Project 89 gives you the structure, feedback, and practice plan to finally move forward.
This Is For You If...
- You regularly shoot between roughly 92 and 102.
- You’ve broken 90 before, but can’t do it consistently.
- You hit enough good shots to know you’re capable of better scores.
- Big numbers, penalties, three-putts, or short-game mistakes keep showing up.
- You practice, but you’re not always sure what deserves your time.
- You want a clear plan instead of constantly changing what you’re working on.
This Probably Isn’t For You If...
- You’re looking for a complete swing rebuild.
- You don’t want to track your rounds.
- You aren’t willing to practice between coaching sessions.
- You only want a quick tip or one-off lesson.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE FAR AWAY FROM 89.
You just need to know which shots are standing between you and it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
BEFORE YOU JOIN PROJECT 89
A few things golfers usually want to know before getting started.
Do I Need to Have Already Broken 90 Before?
No. Project 89 is for golfers who are close enough that a scoring-focused plan can make a meaningful difference. Most players in the program typically shoot in the low 90s to low 100s and are committed to improvement.
What Happens If I Miss a Session?
Life happens. If you need to miss a session, we'll provide make-up options when possible or give you the materials and next steps so you can stay on track. Consistency is important, but we build in some flexibility.
Is This Mostly Swing Instruction?
No. Swing changes may be part of the process when necessary, but the program is built around scoring, decision-making, practice priorities, and reducing wasted shots. We focus on what actually lowers your scores.
Are Green Fees Included?
No. Green fees for on-course sessions are separate. This gives you flexibility and keeps the coaching program itself simple and focused.
How Much Should I Practice Between Sessions?
We recommend 1–2 focused practice sessions per week using your personalized practice plan. The key is purposeful practice, not just hitting more balls.
What If My Biggest Issue Is My Golf Swing?
Then we'll address it. The difference is that we focus on swing changes when they're actually costing you shots. You'll get swing instruction when needed, but always in the context of scoring and on-course performance.
Do I Have to Track Every Round?
You should track the rounds we're using to guide your plan. The data from your scorecards tells us where your biggest opportunities are and helps us adjust your training for maximum improvement.
What Happens After the 3-Month Program?
Most golfers continue with a long-term plan through ongoing coaching, a monthly program, or more advanced training. The goal is for you to leave Project 89 with a clear path to keep improving.
